Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FontBlitz, including the browser extension and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

FontBlitz is operated by Filip Vitas ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent developer based in Serbia.

2. Description of Service

FontBlitz is a browser extension that allows you to switch, test, and preview fonts on any website. The extension modifies font rendering locally in your browser. All changes are temporary and do not alter the underlying website.

3. Account

Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

You may not use another person's account without permission. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free and Pro Plans

FontBlitz offers a free plan with limited features. No account is required for the free plan. Free users are limited to 10 favorite fonts and 1 saved website.

FontBlitz Pro removes all limits and is available as:

• Monthly — $2/month, billed monthly
• Yearly — $12/year, billed annually
• Lifetime — $24, one-time payment. "Lifetime" means access to FontBlitz Pro for the lifetime of the FontBlitz product, while the Service remains available and supported. It does not guarantee that the Service, specific third-party integrations, or app store availability will continue indefinitely.

Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect existing subscriptions during their current billing period.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

By subscribing to FontBlitz Pro, you authorize us to charge you on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

All payments are processed by Polar.sh. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Polar customer portal. After cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Lifetime purchases do not expire and are not subject to renewal.

6. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of any purchase. After 14 days, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

If you have previously received a refund for any FontBlitz purchase, all subsequent purchases are final and non-refundable.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and revoke access to the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Filip Vitas and are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Fonts previewed through FontBlitz are provided by Google Fonts and are subject to their respective licenses. FontBlitz does not claim ownership of any third-party fonts.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for backend infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, and font data. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party service. Outages, changes, or discontinuation of third-party services may affect the functionality of the Service, and we shall have no liability for any such disruptions.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

10. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, TRUTHFULNESS, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE SERVICE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FILIP VITAS, OR HIS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS, BE LIABLE WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUBJECT MATTER OF THESE TERMS UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY FOR: (I) ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; (II) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT FOR SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; (III) FOR INTERRUPTION OF USE OR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR (IV) FOR ANY AMOUNTS THAT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO FONTBLITZ UNDER THESE TERMS DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTH PERIOD PRIOR TO THE CAUSE OF ACTION.

FONTBLITZ SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY FAILURE OR DELAY DUE TO MATTERS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL. THE FOREGOING SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Filip Vitas from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure outages, or failures of third-party service providers.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at fontblitz@gmail.com. The free version of the extension will continue to work without an account.

If you cancel your Pro subscription or it expires, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. Any data exceeding free plan limits (such as extra favorite fonts or saved websites) will be removed. This action cannot be undone.

Upon account deletion, we will remove all personal data associated with your account without undue delay.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Serbia.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FontBlitz regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
